The 4" Round Top BollardGard™ Bollard Cover provides a clean, durable, and maintenance-free way to improve the appearance of existing steel or wood bollards. Designed to fit bollards up to 4.5" outside diameter, the cover slips over the existing post to conceal rust, peeling paint, discoloration, and other signs of weathering while providing a consistent, professional appearance throughout your facility.

Manufactured from 1/8" thick high-density polyethylene (HDPE), these covers are designed for long-term indoor and outdoor use. The molded round top creates a finished appearance while eliminating the need for separate bollard caps. UV-stable construction helps resist fading and cracking, and each cover is backed by a 5-year warranty against cracking and fading.

Installation requires no drilling or permanent modification to the existing bollard. Included GripperTabs™ secure the cover firmly in position while allowing fast installation. For bollards with non-standard dimensions, foam installation is also available.

Technical Specifications

Need a custom height? Custom lengths are available with no cutting charge. For the best finished appearance, the bollard cover should normally be ordered approximately 2"–4" taller than the existing bollard. This allows for variations in bollard height and uneven or domed concrete surfaces.

Please note: Custom-cut bollard covers are non-returnable.

How to Determine the Correct Bollard Cover Size

The most reliable method is to measure the outside diameter (OD) of your existing bollard. This 4" BollardGard™ cover has a 4.7" inside diameter and is designed to fit bollards measuring up to 4.5" OD.

If you cannot measure the diameter directly, measure the circumference of the bollard and divide the measurement by 3.14 (π):

Diameter = Circumference ÷ 3.14

Example: A bollard with a circumference of approximately 14" has an outside diameter of approximately 4.46". This would fit the 4" BollardGard™ cover.

You can also print our Bollard Cover Sizing Guide at 100% scale and place it over the top of the bollard to help determine the appropriate size. This method works best when the top of the bollard is flat and is not obstructed by a concrete dome.

Installation

BollardGard™ covers are designed for quick installation using the included GripperTabs™. No drilling into the existing bollard is required.
