48" Magnetic Gorilla Post™ – 2-1/3" OD Portable Delineator

The 48" Magnetic Gorilla Post™ is a portable delineator designed for temporary traffic control, pedestrian guidance, parking-space management, and other applications where a visible barrier or marker needs to be installed without permanent anchoring.

The 2-1/3" OD polyethylene post is mounted to a magnetic base equipped with six rare-earth neodymium magnets, allowing the unit to attach to compatible ferrous steel surfaces. This makes the post easy to position, remove, and relocate as traffic patterns or access requirements change.

Available in yellow or orange, the 48" tall post provides high visibility while maintaining a lightweight, portable design suitable for parking facilities, multi-space meter areas, temporary access zones, pedestrian routes, and other indoor or outdoor applications.

Technical Specifications

Magnetic Installation

The Gorilla Post™ uses a magnetic mounting base with six rare-earth neodymium magnets. When placed on a compatible ferrous steel surface, the magnetic base allows the post to be installed without drilling, anchors, or other permanent fasteners.

Because the post can be removed and repositioned, it is particularly useful for facilities where parking layouts, pedestrian routes, access restrictions, or temporary traffic patterns change over time.

Important: The magnetic base requires a suitable ferrous steel mounting surface. It will not attach magnetically to concrete, aluminum, stainless steel grades that are non-magnetic, or other non-ferrous surfaces without an appropriate steel mounting interface.

Temporary Parking & Traffic Control

The 48" Magnetic Gorilla Post™ is well suited for locations where a temporary but clearly visible delineator is needed. It can be used to identify individual parking spaces, define pedestrian routes, mark restricted zones, or temporarily redirect traffic without permanently modifying the mounting surface.

Its portable design makes it especially useful around multi-space parking meters, parking facilities, event areas, loading zones, and facilities where access requirements frequently change.

Sign-Mounting Capability

The polyethylene post can also be used as a signpost and may be drilled to accommodate compatible front-mounted signs. This allows the same post to provide both physical delineation and visual messaging when required.
