The 6.5" Square Decorative Bollard Cover provides a clean architectural finish for existing square or round posts while reducing the need for repeated painting and cosmetic maintenance. The square profile and granite-style finishes create a more refined appearance for commercial, municipal, institutional, and landscaped environments.

Manufactured from heavy-duty .188" thick low-density polyethylene (LDPE), the cover is designed for durable indoor and outdoor use. Its 6.5" inside dimension allows the square sleeve to be adapted to a variety of appropriately sized square or round posts using the included foam installation material.

Available in Charcoal Gray Granite and Tan Granite, these decorative covers provide an attractive alternative to conventional industrial-style post sleeves while allowing the existing post to remain in place. BollardGard™ is UV stable and backed by a 5-year warranty against cracking and fading.

How to Determine the Correct Cover Size

This decorative square cover has a 6.5" inside dimension. Because the cover can be installed over either square or round posts, measure the existing post carefully before ordering.

For square posts, measure the width from one outside edge to the opposite outside edge. For round posts, measure straight across the widest part of the post to determine the outside diameter (OD).

If measuring the outside diameter of a round post directly is difficult, measure its circumference and divide by 3.14 (π):

Outside Diameter = Circumference ÷ 3.14

Height & Custom Lengths

The standard square decorative cover measures 60" in overall height. Custom-cut lengths are also available with no cutting charge.

For custom installations, select a cover approximately 2"–4" taller than the existing post to help accommodate concrete domes and variations in installed post height. Maintaining a consistent finished cover height across multiple posts creates a cleaner and more uniform appearance throughout the property.

Installation

BollardGard™ decorative covers are designed for quick installation using the included foam strips. The foam helps center and secure the cover around the existing post while accommodating differences between the post and the 6.5" inside dimension. No drilling into the existing post is required.
