The 7" Decorative Bollard Cover provides a clean architectural finish for existing steel bollards while reducing the need for repeated painting and surface maintenance. Designed to fit bollards up to 6-5/8" outside diameter, the decorative sleeve transforms exposed steel posts into a more refined feature suitable for commercial properties, municipalities, office buildings, storefronts, and landscaped environments.

The molded slant-top design creates a distinctive finished appearance, while the heavy-duty .188" low-density polyethylene (LDPE) construction is designed for long-term indoor and outdoor use. The material is UV stable and backed by a 5-year warranty against cracking and fading.

Unlike standard smooth bollard covers, the decorative finishes are designed to complement architectural surroundings and provide the appearance of a more substantial finished bollard without the cost and complexity of replacing the existing post with cast iron, stone, or custom architectural bollards.

How to Determine the Correct Bollard Cover Size

This decorative cover has a 7.1" inside diameter and is designed to fit steel bollards measuring up to 6-5/8" outside diameter.

For the most accurate measurement, measure straight across the widest part of the existing bollard to determine its outside diameter (OD).

If measuring the outside diameter directly is difficult, measure the circumference of the bollard and divide by 3.14 (π):

Outside Diameter = Circumference ÷ 3.14

A bollard with a circumference of approximately 20.8" has an outside diameter of approximately 6.62", placing it within the maximum recommended size for this decorative cover.

Height & Custom Lengths

The standard decorative cover measures 65" in overall height and is designed for a maximum pipe height of 56".

Custom-cut lengths are available with no cutting charge. When ordering a custom length, allow additional cover height to accommodate concrete domes and differences in installed pipe height. Maintaining a consistent finished cover height across multiple bollards helps create a cleaner and more uniform appearance throughout the property.

Installation

BollardGard™ decorative covers are designed for quick installation using the included foam strips. The foam helps center and secure the cover around the existing bollard while accommodating variations in bollard diameter. No drilling into the existing bollard is required.
