Confirm the Surface

Choose a ferromagnetic vertical surface such as steel. The magnetic mount will not adhere to non-ferrous materials such as wood, aluminum, or brass.

Place the Housing

Position the wall-mount housing at the desired height and bring the rear magnet into full contact with the steel surface.

Confirm the Receiving Point

For the magnetic belt-end version, verify that a suitable ferromagnetic surface is available at the opposite end of the intended barrier span.

Deploy the Belt

Extend the belt and attach the magnetic belt end to the opposing compatible metal surface. Relocate the housing whenever the closure point changes.
